Reflections

the mirrors in my mind

have been twisted by too many hands

i cannot see myself as beautiful

and choose to turn out the light

but what good would it be

to know i am stunning

if you did not see me that way?

I would trade in all the mirrors

of all the world

for the reflection in your eyes
